We will have a booth on the south side of Court Avenue almost at the intersection with 2nd Avenue.

We're really excited to be given the opportunity to bring Iowa native wildflowers and grasses directly to Iowans. This year, we're pleased to offer a large variety of potted plants in gallons as well 4.5”deep x 2” cone containers("38's" is what we call 'em). We'll even have bare roots available!

While each Saturday we'll have only a select variety of plants, customers are always welcome to request and/or pick from any species we have down at our farm in Carlisle. Our goal is to provide the public with a very diverse selection of species, even if we can only bring a limited quantity downtown every Saturday. A list of plants available can be found at our 2013 Spring/Summer Inventory post.
Not everyone has a green thumb or the best creative design techniques, and we're more than happy to offer advice! We've even put together some "gardens" that will be sold as packages at the Downtown Farmers' Market. Each garden is designed to attract hummingbirds and butterflies or retain rain and includes a wildflower and grass mix of 38 potted 4.5'' cones(referred to as a 38 flat).
We can't wait to meet all of you downtown on the 11th! Come and see what kind of beautiful, early spring natives we have blooming! Certainly you'll see many Geum trifolum (Prairie Smoke)!!!
